media. teen pregnancy.

(image from abcnews.com)
so the younger Spears is pregnant while claiming that kids should wait and not have premarrital sex. i guess she just didnt want to wait till 21 to lose her virginity, as that would be "too late", right?

it is a good time to talk about what message is being sent. GMA brought it up, i didnt, that abstinence-only sex ed does not work, on the other hand, people who learn earlier in life about this important life experience, knowing the consequences, will delay and use protection if they choose to have sex.

a report also emphasized the fact that young 16-yr-old Spears met the father of her baby, who's 18 (only) at a CHURCH. what, again, is implied?

losing virginity "LATE"

Losing Virginity Later Linked to Sexual Problems

"Those who lose their virginity at a later age -- around 21 to 23 years of age"

21-23 is LATE. wonderful.

sexuality is a life long experience as I explained in previous posts, and like mentioned in the article, abstinence-only education does not work statistically in preventing teen/unwanted pregnancy. People should be taught about their sexuality and know consequences of unprotected sex.
But as a Christian, I wonder what our society has become. are we encouraging "early"/premarital sex?
